We are LOVING Pajama Day!



Catholic Schools Week

Catholic Schools Week is so amazing!  The whole school does it.  It starts on January 28th.  We dress up.  On Monday, we wear our Holy Family shirts.  On Tuesday, we wear pajamas.  On Wednesday, we wear camoflauge.  On Thursday, we dress up in our Sunday best to get an ice cream sundae!  Friday is crazy Hoot style dress!

We also have the Penny Blitz.  Every time we dress up, we get a ticket.  We put the tickets in a bucket, and on Friday Mrs. Sternberg draws winners for prizes.  We also have a scavenger hunt.  We get put on a teacher's team and try to find Catholic stuff.  Catholic Schools Week is very awesome!

Jungle Superstar & Cranium Crew

Do you want to know what is going on in the Jungle?  Here's the news!

We have a Jungle Superstar.  To earn this award, a person has to go above and beyond.  Anyone can get this if they,

• improve grades
• have an awesome Christian attitude
• go above and beyond

Congrats to Brennen, Addison, Matthew (not pictured), Emily, Elizabeth, and Ethan for already getting the Jungle Superstar award this school year!  We hope to see more Superstars!

 

 

We also do something in our room called Cranium Crew.  You answer hard questions in your free time.  You can get all kinds of rewards from Mrs. H.  You can also work on it at home if you don't take the folder with you.



 

The people that are already in the Cranium Crew Hall of Fame are Emily, Addison, Leah, and Elizabeth.  Congrats to those people!  If you are wondering who is in first place, it is Addison.  See ya next time!

Indiana Salt Maps

I was thoroughly impressed with this year's batch of salt maps!  Wow! The kids worked so hard and put a ton of effort forth to create these one-of-a-kind masterpieces!  Nice work, Jungle Crew!
